You can't buy or borrow a minute.
Time isn't for sale.
Time is Life.

Yet how we squander and waste it --
in worry and folly and strife.

And things of no value or merit --
the pleasures that die with the day.

If time were for sale
how we'd treasure the hours that we fritter away!

Spend time as you spend gold and silver.
Spend wisely what Time God may give.

Time wasted is time gone forever.
It can't be recalled to relive.

And when at last Time grows precious,
and time is the thing that you lack,
you think of lost friends and lost chances
and the days that will never come back.
